WordPress 3.0 is expected to release sometime this may, and with it will come an array of new features to bring it closer to officially being a CMS. Some of these features include:
- Custom Post Types
- Menu Management
- Custom Taxonomies
- New Default Theme: “Twentyten”
- Multi-site
- Author Templates
- Select Username and Password During Installation
