Thanks for the response Josh, these are definitely valid points. Google Analytics is, in my opinion, one of the best free services out there. It is invaluable for anyone who owns a website.

I originally managed my title tags with All in One SEO Pack until I upgraded to HeadSpace for the auto-tagging features. Luckily HeadSpace is able to import all your settings from All In One if your considering a switch. Both are great, and All In One SEO does the job well with less baggage.

I think you should add an area on analytics to this post.

Having (at least) Google Analytics on your site (or blog) is key to understanding how people find you, what they do on your site and why they leave.

There are a few great WordPress plugins to help. (I recently blogged about this: http://www.nooozeguy.com/using-wordpress-as-a-content-management-system-cms/).

All in One SEO Pack: This will take care of your title tags and much much more.
Google Analytics for Wordpress: This makes it easier to install GA and helps exclude your own traffic.

After revamping my search engine efforts I’ve observed a 500% increase in unique traffic… in 1 day. I suspect it’s mostly from the ping-back services. According to Google Analytics, stumbleupon.com has been largest provider of my incoming traffic over the past 3 days.
