Discovery & Planning
From the start we’ll work as a team and discuss your business, your goals, and expectations. We’ll check out your competitors to see what they’re doing right, and what they’re doing wrong.
Next we’ll center our attention on your audience and their needs to ensure the website is user centered. After that we’ll talk about features you like and what we’ll need to make them a reality.
After that we’ll discuss any technological requirements your have, and I’ll help you with choose a web host that suites the needs of your website.
Once we discover everything your website will need, we’ll piece together the site structure and arrange everything in the best way possible.
After we have a solid website planned out I’ll build a timeline and we’ll get started with the initial designs.
Page Designs & Prototypes
I’ll create the first “mockup’s” to outline the look and feel of the website. I can work with or an existing logo or branding guide, or create a new one. We’ll iterate through changes together until we have something that addresses the needs of your users.
Once we have the look and feel down, I’ll create designs for each unique template the website requires.
Development
Development is where your designs come to life and transform into a user experience. Your website will adhere to web standards and will be created for optimal search engine rankings. To be sure that all your visitors have the same experience, your website will be tested in all major web browsers.
Your websites’ content will be managed by the open source platform WordPress. This will allow you to easily update and manage your website while powerful search engine optimization gears turn behind the scenes.
Maintenance & Training
Using the content management system you will be able to update and maintain your website in-house. To help with the learning curve, narrated training videos will be built to suite your specific needs and hosted online for your convenience.
